Bible Verse Of The Day ~Monday, February 27, 2012
Ephesians 5:1-2 (NIV)
“Follow God’s example, therefore, as dearly loved children and walk in the way of love, just as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us as a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God.”
The Implication
As we reflect during this Lenten season, we remember the amazing sacrifice Jesus Christ made for us out of unconditional heartfelt love. Good Friday is the culmination of Jesus’ death so we can live. Easter Sunday is God’s Amen! Jesus rose in fulfillment of the scripture. This is God’s way of telling us that He accepted Jesus’ payment for our sins.
During this season, we should take a good lesson from Jesus and love unconditionally. We are called to walk in faith and in love as Jesus did for all of us. We are all sons and daughters of God, and we are called to love and care for each other.

This is an inspiration. There are times when I qoeutisn God’s mercy- qoeutisn whether or not forgiveness will be granted for the up tenth time. Larry’s story shows that no crime, act of hatred or any deed is unforgivable. Once you go to God in prayer with an open heart and a willingness to do right, all else becomes “water under the bridge” (so to speak). It is a constant battle, one that God guarantees we will not fight alone.Thank you for sharing Larry’s story with Godsy Girl!
