The Truest Blessings We Are Given

The Beatitudes Video

Many of us look high and low for inspiration, motivation and a reason to get up in the morning. Sometimes to seems hard to do the right thing. We look to people, to objects, and to idols. In all of the time we spend searching for inspiration we bypass the one place that we have an open and flowing link to inspiration and to our purpose in life. As Christians, we know that the one true inspiration and purpose for life is Jesus Christ. Yet, it is so easy to become of the world and loose our focus on the truly important reason that we have life. The only reason we have life, eternal and everlasting life, is Jesus Christ our savior.

Turn To Christ

When searching for inspiration, we should be turning to Jesus Christ and His Word. We are given an entire Bible full of inspiration, lessons and teachings from the King of King’s Himself. Yet, most Christian’s haven’t even read Scripture except for what we are asked to open up to on Sunday mornings.

The Gospel of Matthew 5 – Beatitudes

Some of the most inspiring text on this Earth is found in Matthew 5: 1-12 (NIV), known as the Beatitudes. Take a look at what scripture has to say. See if this helps you find inspiration and a pure heart.

Matthew 5 (NIV)
Introduction to the Sermon on the Mount
1 Now when Jesus saw the crowds, he went up on a mountainside and sat down. His disciples came to him, 2 and he began to teach them.

The Beatitudes
He said:
3 “Blessed are the poor in spirit,
for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
4 Blessed are those who mourn,
for they will be comforted.
5 Blessed are the meek,
for they will inherit the earth.
6 Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness,
for they will be filled.
7 Blessed are the merciful,
for they will be shown mercy.
8 Blessed are the pure in heart,
for they will see God.
9 Blessed are the peacemakers,
for they will be called children of God.
10 Blessed are those who are persecuted because of righteousness,
for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
11 “Blessed are you when people insult you, persecute you and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of me. 12 Rejoice and be glad, because great is your reward in heaven, for in the same way they persecuted the prophets who were before you.

Living God’s Will

After sharing the blessings with us, Jesus goes onto give us instruction on how to live a life pleasing to Him. Finding motivation and inspiration comes in doing what the Father has called us to do. There is a wonderful video on youtube that emphasizes the Beatitudes beautifully, and gives credit where credit is due, to Jesus Christ.
If you are looking for inspiration and motivation, look no further than the Bible sitting in your home. It is full of inspiration, motivation and guidance and will bring you to the Lord’s purpose for your life. One of the most motivating bits of scripture I have ever read goes like this.

Matthew 17:20
20 He replied, “Because you have so little faith. Truly I tell you, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you.

Wear A Reminder Of Your True Inspiration

If you or somebody you love needs daily inspiration and motivation, a cross necklace is a wonderful way to be constantly reminded of what Jesus did for us. Cross necklaces are a beautiful addition to any outfit, and they can be a constant reminder of our Faith, Christ’s gift, and the simple knowledge that anything is possible in and through Jesus Christ.
