The Story Behind It

Most wooden cups you find online are factory-made somewhere overseas, sanded down and finished by machine. Ours are shaped by hand in Bethlehem by the same Christian artisan families who've been doing this for three generations. Same streets, same workshop, same craft their grandparents passed down to them.

The olive wood itself comes from annual pruning of living trees. Nobody's cutting ancient trees down for this. The pruned branches get used, the trees keep growing, and that's been the practice here for as long as anyone can remember. There's something right about that, at least to me. Care Instructions

Olive wood's low maintenance. If the cup starts looking a little dry, rub a small drop of olive oil into it with a cloth and it'll come right back. Don't soak it in water. That's really about it.
