Bethlehem workshop
Zuluf is a Christian family workshop in Bethlehem, Holy Land. We work directly with local artisan families to handcraft olive wood gifts for approved resellers, churches, ministries, events, and custom programs worldwide.
What is the minimum order for olive wood wholesale?
Retail orders use normal checkout, with automatic volume discounts on eligible single-item products. Approved wholesale and custom orders require at least $1,000 in merchandise every time, including reorders. Shipping is separate.
Can I get samples before placing a bulk olive wood order?
We don't send free samples - but we make it easy to try before you commit. Place a small eligible retail order first. Eligible single-item products receive automatic savings when you buy 3 or more of the same variant; pre-priced packs and sets are excluded. Hold the pieces, feel the weight, see the finish in person. Once you're happy with the quality, apply for a wholesale account for proper bulk pricing (up to 70% off retail). Most of our long-term wholesale partners started exactly this way.
Do you offer custom engraving or private label olive wood products?
We do it all the time. Names, dates, Bible verses, church logos, business logos - whatever you need. We also do custom packaging and private labeling for stores that want their own branding on the products. Minimum quantities depend on the custom work, and the $1,000 merchandise minimum still applies to every wholesale order.
Where is the Zuluf olive wood factory located?
Beit Sahour, Bethlehem - about 10 km south of Jerusalem, right in the Holy Land. If you know where the Shepherds' Fields are, we're a five-minute walk from there. Our workshop has been in this same spot since 2007. It's a real place with real people, and you're welcome to visit anytime - we've had wholesale partners fly in from the US, Canada, Australia, Germany, you name it.
How long does international shipping take from Bethlehem?
Production takes 1-2 weeks depending on how big the order is. After that, international shipping from Bethlehem runs about 2-4 weeks to most countries. If you're in a rush for something, let us know - we've pulled off tight deadlines before. We ship to the US, Canada, UK, Europe, Australia, and 50+ other countries.
Do you offer olive wood dropshipping from Bethlehem?
Yes. Here's how we do it: first, place a regular order so you can get the actual products in your hands, take your own photos, write your own descriptions. After that, when your customers order from your store, we ship directly to them from Bethlehem with no Zuluf branding - plain packaging, generic certificates of authenticity. Is your olive wood sustainably sourced from the Holy Land?
100%. We only use wood from pruned branches - branches that the ancient olive trees in the Bethlehem region naturally shed, or that local farmers trim during regular maintenance. No living trees are ever cut down. Some of these olive trees are over 2,000 years old. We respect them.
Can I visit the Zuluf workshop in Beit Sahour, Bethlehem?
I'd love that. Seriously - reach out and we'll set it up. You can meet the artisans, watch them carve, pick your products in person. Several of our wholesale partners visited before their first order and told me it was the best business decision they made. The coffee's on me.
