Zuluf is a Christian family-run olive wood workshop in Beit Sahour, Bethlehem, one of the oldest Christian communities in the world. For 19 years we have supplied churches, pilgrims, and Christian families worldwide with handmade crosses, nativities, and sacred gifts carved by hand in the Holy Land. The Local Government named us Exporter of the Year in 2017. Our customers keep coming back because they know exactly where their gift was made and who made it.
Every olive wood cross, nativity set, and Holy Land gift ships directly from our Bethlehem workshop. Beit Sahour is the City of the Shepherds, where the story of Boaz and Ruth was written, where King David tended his father's flock. This is not a warehouse. It is a living workshop in the birthplace of Christianity.

Beit Sahour sits just outside Bethlehem, in the same fields where shepherds heard the first Christmas news. Our workshops stand there today. Twenty-plus artisan families pass their craft from father to son, using the same hand tools their grandfathers used. When olive branches are pruned each spring, we collect them. Nothing is cut down. Each carving begins with wood that was already removed from a living tree. That is the only olive wood we use.

Zuluf has operated as a factory-direct Christian olive wood manufacturer in Beit Sahour, Bethlehem since 2007. All products are carved by hand from sustainably pruned olive branches, packaged on-site, and shipped directly to customers in over thirty countries without any middlemen or importers.

As the cross warms in your palm it feels as if someone is holding your hand. In any kind of trial I like to hold my comfort cross and imagine Jesus himself sitting beside me holding my hand. It gives me incredible comfort and peace and a reminder that I am never alone.
