About This Rosary

Pick this up and the first thing you feel is the weight, or really the lack of it. Twenty-five grams. Light enough to wear all day, solid enough to feel real in your hands during prayer. Every bead is hand-polished olive wood from Bethlehem, and no two have exactly the same grain.

If you're looking for a rosary for sale that actually comes from somewhere, this is it. Not a warehouse in New Jersey. Bethlehem. The families who make these have been doing it for generations, and you can feel that when you hold one. The beads are smooth, the links are durable metal, and the whole thing hangs at 21.6 inches, which is the right length for rosaries hand carved the old-school way.

We sell these as single pieces and in sets of three or six. A lot of people buy rosaries order online from us really for gifts, and I'll explain why that makes sense a little further down.

From Our Family to Yours

Hi, I'm Elias. I grew up watching these rosaries come together bead by bead in workshops a short walk from Manger Square. My family has been working directly with these artisan families for years, and every olive wood rosary we sell ships straight from Bethlehem. No middlemen, no retail markup. When you buy rosary beads through Zuluf, you're getting the real thing.

Perfect As a Gift

A priest in Ohio ordered six sets from us last Easter to give out after confirmation Mass. He emailed a few weeks later to say every family had asked where they came from. That's what happens when something is actually made somewhere that means something.

These work beautifully as a rosaries baptism gift, a rosaries confirmation gift, or a rosaries easter gift for someone coming into the faith. Around Christmas we see a lot of orders from families buying them as a rosaries christmas gift for grandparents. And honestly, a rosaries wedding gift with a piece from the Holy Land is something a couple keeps for life. Free US shipping on orders over $50 makes the six-piece set an easy decision for parishes and ministries.

The Story Behind It

Most rosaries you find online are factory-made somewhere with no connection to faith or place. These aren't. The families who make them live and work in Bethlehem, some within walking distance of the Church of the Nativity. That's not a marketing line, that's just where they are.

I've been to these workshops. I've sat with these craftspeople and watched how they thread and link each bead by hand. The knots are tied carefully, not by machine. There's a version of how to do the rosary that starts with how it's made, and if you want the honest answer, it starts here, with olive wood from the Holy Land and hands that have been doing this work for three generations.

When you buy rosary from Zuluf, you're supporting those families directly. No importers in between. Factory-direct from Bethlehem, shipped to your door.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is the wood actually from Bethlehem or is that just branding?

Real olive wood from Bethlehem. Not a label slapped on something made somewhere else.

Does it come with anything for gifting or is it just loose?

So it comes with a velvet bag, a plastic gift box, and a certificate of authenticity. I actually debated dropping the certificate a couple years back because some people never even open the box it's in, but enough customers told me it mattered to them, especially for baptism or confirmation gifts, that I kept it. Glad I did. The velvet bag alone makes it feel like something.

How long is it?

21.6 inches. Full-length rosary, not a pocket version.

Is it actually handmade or is that just something you say?

Genuinely handmade, the families doing this have been at it for generations. I've packed enough of these orders that I can tell when something's off, and these aren't off. The grain's different on every single bead, you can't fake that.

What if I need a few for first communion gifts?

Pretty easy, just grab the 3 or 6-piece option on the listing. Ships in a couple days usually, free shipping if you're over fifty bucks.
