About This Tabletop Crucifix
Set this on your desk or dresser and it just anchors the room. There's something about a bethlehem olive wood crucifix standing at eye level that a wall-hung cross doesn't quite do the same way. You see it differently when it's right there in front of you.
The base is solid enough that it stands on its own without leaning. Pick it up and you'll notice the weight is real, not hollow. The grain runs through the whole piece, corpus and cross together, because it's carved from one section of wood. That matters more than it sounds.
If you're looking for an olive wood tabletop gift that actually means something, this is the one I'd point you to. Three sizes available, 18cm, 22cm, and 28cm, so you can pick what fits the space.
From Our Family to Yours
Hi, I'm Elias. I've been handling these crucifixes since I was small enough that the 28cm one was basically the same size as my arm. My father built this shop around the artisan families here in Bethlehem, and I've been running it since 2007. Every bethlehem crucifix we sell ships directly from us, no warehouses in between, no guessing who made it.

Perfect As a Gift
A priest here in the US ordered a dozen of the 22cm ones last Easter, said he gives them to families during RCIA. He came back for more a few months later. That's the kind of repeat order that tells you something.
This works as an olive wood tabletop baptism gift, an olive wood tabletop confirmation gift, or honestly just something meaningful to give someone who's going through a hard season. The olive wood tabletop christmas gift angle is popular too, especially the 28cm for a mantle display. Free US shipping on orders over $100, so if you're ordering two or more, you're already there.

The Story Behind It
Most crucifixes you find online are factory-made somewhere with no connection to the Holy Land at all. Ours come from Christian artisan families in Bethlehem who have been carving olive wood for three generations. Same families, same neighborhood, same skills passed down at the workbench.
The olive wood itself comes from annual pruning of living trees. Nobody's cutting anything down. The trees keep growing, the pruned branches become something that lasts, and the families who do this work earn a fair wage for it. That last part matters to me personally, because I know these people. They're not just suppliers.
We've been doing this since 2007 and ship to 50+ countries. The factory-direct setup means no middlemen marking things up, which is how a hand-carved bethlehem olive wood crucifix ends up priced the way it is.

Care Instructions
Olive wood is low maintenance. If it starts looking a little dry, rub a small drop of olive oil into it with a cloth and it'll come right back. Don't soak it in water. That's really about it.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is this actually handmade in Bethlehem or is that just a marketing thing?
Yeah, genuinely. I've been working with these families for years, my dad worked with some of them before me. The corpus, the cross, the base, it's all carved there. Not assembled somewhere else from Bethlehem blanks, actually made there start to finish.
Does it come in any kind of box or packaging?
It comes packaged so it won't get dinged up in shipping, you're good there.
Is it real olive wood or does it just have that look?
Real olive wood, not a veneer. The grain runs through the whole thing, corpus included. I actually keep the 22cm on my desk and the grain on mine has this dark streak through the left arm that I've never seen repeated on another one, that's just how olive wood is, every piece is its own thing... anyway, you're not getting something that was dipped in a wood-look finish. It's the actual material.
How fast does shipping usually go?
Pretty standard, ships in a couple days usually. Free shipping if you're over fifty bucks in the US.
Which corpus size looks right on a dresser without being too big?
Honestly the 22cm hits the sweet spot for most people. The 28cm is substantial, more of a statement piece, the 18cm can get a little lost if your dresser has other stuff on it.
