Same stacked-block wall as the plank-roof version, but the roof is built from olive wood planks that have the natural bark left on the outer surface, each roof is unique because no two bark planks match, holy family figures inside are separate carved pieces.

Bark-edge roof planks are harder to source and harder to fit, the bark has to be brushed and the underlying wood squared without losing the natural outer texture. The carver matches a left and a right plank from the same tree section so the roof reads as one continuous bark face rather than two mismatched panels.
