About This Holy Family Sculpture
Set this on a shelf and something happens. You keep coming back to it. Mary, Joseph, and the infant carved together in one flowing piece, not three separate figures but one continuous movement in wood, and that makes all the difference.
This is genuine holy land olive art, shaped by hand in Bethlehem by the same Christian families who've been doing this for generations. The grain runs through the whole thing in warm golds and browns, and because it's real wood, no two pieces look exactly the same. The one sitting in front of me right now has a dark streak through Joseph's robe. The next one won't.
If you've been looking to buy a nativity set that actually means something, one that comes from the birthplace of the story itself, this is it. Solid, quiet, and about 6.5 inches tall. The kind of thing you keep long after the season ends.
From Our Family to Yours
Hi, I'm Elias. I've been handling these olive wood family hand carvings since I was a kid helping my father pack orders. This nativity sculpture is one of those pieces I keep near my own desk, not as a display, just because I like having it there. Every one that ships from us goes directly from our Bethlehem workshop to your door.

Perfect As a Gift
A pastor in Ohio ordered five of these last November, one for each family in his congregation going through a hard year. He wrote back in January just to say they'd all put them up and kept them up. That's the kind of thing that sticks with you.
It works beautifully as a figures christmas gift, a figures baptism gift, or something to mark a confirmation. This is a figures gift idea that travels well across occasions, arriving from the actual birthplace of the Christmas story. Free US shipping on orders over $50, and we ship worldwide.

The Story Behind It
The family that carves this xmas nativity set piece has been working the same olive wood for three generations. Their workshop is a short drive from Manger Square, which still gets me every time I think about it. The grandfather taught the father, the father taught the sons. That's the whole supply chain.
Most nativity set figurines you find online are factory-made somewhere far from Bethlehem, pressed out of resin with no connection to the story they're supposed to tell. Ours aren't. The olive wood itself comes from annual pruning of living trees, nobody cuts a tree down for this. Your order goes directly to keeping these families working, with no middlemen taking a cut between them and you.
970+ five-star reviews, family-run since before I could reach the packing table, and shipping to customers in 50+ countries. That part I'm proud of, at least a little.

Care Instructions
Olive wood's low maintenance. If it starts looking a little dry, rub a small drop of olive oil into it with a cloth and that's all it needs. Don't soak it in water and it'll stay looking good for years.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is this actually carved in Bethlehem or just marketed that way?
Yeah, genuinely. I've been working with these families for years, my dad before me. They're Christian artisans in Bethlehem, same families, same hands. It's not a warehouse in New Jersey with a sticker on it. Real holy land olive art, that's the whole point of what we do here.
Does it ship in something giftable or just a plain box?
So it comes packaged well enough that most people gift it as-is. I'd say probably 70% of what we sell is going straight to someone as a present, baptism gifts, Christmas, that kind of thing, so we do make sure it's not arriving in a beat-up mailer. There's usually a velvet pouch or a fitted box depending on which batch we're shipping from... anyway, yes, it's presentable when it arrives.
How fast does this ship?
Pretty standard, ships in a couple days usually. Free shipping if you're in the US and over fifty bucks.
Is the wood actually one solid piece or is it glued together from parts?
One piece. That's actually the thing that makes this harder to carve than it looks, getting Mary, Joseph, and the infant out of a single block without it feeling crowded. I keep one of these on my own shelf and you can run your hand across it, there's no seam, the grain just flows through the whole thing.
Roughly how large is it?
I'd say probably 5 to 6 inches tall. Not tiny, you'll actually see it on a shelf.
