About This Nativity Collection

There's a moment when you set this out and step back. The stable is 24.8 inches wide, the figures are all arranged, and it just looks like something that belongs in a church. Not a department store. It's big, it's heavy, it's carved from actual olive wood by families who live maybe a mile from where the Christmas story happened.

If you're looking at nativities for sale and trying to figure out which one is worth keeping forever, this is the one. Seventeen pieces, each carved by hand. The grain on every figure is different because the wood is different. You can't get that from a factory.

This nativity collection is what people order when they want something they can pass down. We've been shipping these directly from Bethlehem for years and the reviews speak for themselves. If you want to order a nativity online and actually know where it came from, you're in the right place.

From Our Family to Yours

Hi, I'm Elias. I grew up around these nativities, my father had them stacked in the workshop and I used to pick up the figures as a kid and look at the faces. Running this shop now, I still do that. This olive wood luxury nativity is one of the largest sets we carry, and honestly it's the one I'd put in my own house without hesitating. Ships directly from us in Bethlehem, no middlemen involved.

Perfect As a Gift

A customer from Ohio emailed us last January. She said she'd put the set out for Christmas and her grandchildren refused to let her pack it away. It's been sitting on a shelf in the living room ever since. That's the kind of thing that makes this a nativities gift idea worth thinking about seriously.

It works for almost any occasion. People order this as a nativities christmas gift more than anything else, but we also ship it as a nativities baptism gift, a nativities confirmation gift, and a nativities wedding gift for couples setting up their first home. Free US shipping over $100, and we ship worldwide.

The Story Behind It

Most nativities you find online are factory-made somewhere with no connection to the story. These are carved by hand, in Bethlehem, by families who have been doing this work for three generations. That's not a marketing line, that's just what's true.

The olive wood comes from annual pruning of living trees. Nobody cuts them down. The trees keep growing, the families keep carving, and the craft stays alive because people like you keep ordering. I think that matters, at least it does to me.

We buy directly from the artisan families. No importers in between, no markups stacked on markups. Factory-direct pricing is how we keep this set accessible even at this scale. These are 3rd generation carvers who learned from their fathers, and their fathers learned from theirs, in the same city where the nativity scene actually happened.

Care Instructions

Olive wood is low maintenance. If it starts looking a little dry after a few years, rub a small drop of olive oil into it with a soft cloth and it'll come right back. Don't soak it in water and don't leave it somewhere with extreme humidity. That's really all there's to it.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is this actually from Bethlehem or is that just a marketing thing?

Yeah, genuinely. The families carving these live maybe a mile from where the story happened. My dad started working with them before I was running this, and I've packed hundreds of these orders myself. It's not a branding line. The wood smells like olive wood because it's olive wood, cut from trees in that region. Anyway, if you've ever held one of these next to a mass-produced resin nativity you'll feel the difference immediately.

Is this a good gift for someone who already has a nativity set?

Honestly, this is the one people buy when they want to finally own a real one. Most folks who get this as a gift end up retiring whatever they had before.

Do you do bulk pricing for churches?

So we get this one a lot, and yeah, reach out directly. Email us through the site. We've worked with churches before, it's worth a conversation, pricing depends on the pieces and the order size.

What variant should I pick if I just want the stable without the figurines?

"NATIVITY" in the dropdown. Just the stable, no figures.

How's the quality on the figurines specifically, some sellers just phone that part in?

The figurines are where I'd actually push back on the skepticism a little. We had a supplier maybe four years ago whose figures were slightly inconsistent in finish, we stopped using them. The current carvers do the faces by hand, you can see the tool marks up close, which sounds like a flaw but it's actually what makes them look right. The stable gets all the attention in photos but the figures are solid, the wood grain shows through on every single one.
