This is a hand carved olive wood nativity stable from Bethlehem with a tall 3D palm tree on one side, an arched stable structure in the center holding the Holy Family carved inside, and a layered three-dimensional star at the peak. Kneeling and standing figures on both sides complete the composition. A complete tabletop nativity in one carved piece. This is a hand carved olive wood nativity stable from Bethlehem with a tall 3D palm tree on one side, an arched stable structure in the center holding the Holy Family carved inside, and a layered three-dimensional star at the peak.

The layered 3D star on this piece is what makes it for me. Most stars on small nativities are flat relief, this one is built up in layers so it actually casts a small shadow on the stable roof below it. Tiny detail that a customer won't necessarily name but will feel the difference of, the piece looks more dimensional in person than a photo can show.
