About This Angel
The first thing people notice is that she has no face. And somehow that's the thing that makes her impossible to put down. This olive wood angel with no face holds a baby close, carved in one quiet, gentle pose, and she communicates something that a painted face never could. Protection. Peace. Something bigger than words.
She's hand carved in Bethlehem by Christian artisan families who have been doing this for generations. Seven inches tall, solid in your hand, warm from the wood. If you're looking for angels hand carved from genuine Holy Land olive wood, this is the one people keep coming back to order online.
From Our Family to Yours
Hi, I'm Elias. I've been handling these angels since I was small enough to hold one with both hands. This particular piece, the faceless angel holding a baby, is one that I personally find hard to leave on the shelf. There's something in that carved pose that stays with you. Every one ships directly from our workshop near Manger Square in Bethlehem, no middlemen, no warehouses in between.

Perfect As a Gift
A customer wrote to us last year. She'd ordered this angel as a baptism gift for her sister's new baby and said the whole room went quiet when it was unwrapped. That's the kind of thing I remember. If you're looking for an angels gift idea that actually means something, this is it.

The Story Behind It
Every angel starts as a branch of real olive wood from the Holy Land, pruned from living trees that keep growing. Nobody's cutting anything down. The families who carve these have been doing it for three generations in Bethlehem, same hands, same workshops, same care passed from grandfather to grandchild.
Most olive wood angels you find online are factory-made somewhere far from here, sanded smooth and stacked in containers. Ours come directly from the carver's bench to your door. The small lines, the uneven grain, the slight difference from one piece to the next, that's not inconsistency. That's the craft, honest and alive. Your order keeps these families working, and that matters to me at least as much as anything on the spec sheet.

Care Instructions
Olive wood's low maintenance. If she starts looking a little dry, rub a small drop of olive oil into the wood with a cloth and she'll come right back. Don't soak it in water. That's really all there's to it.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does it come in a gift box or do I need to wrap it myself?
Comes in a gift box, yeah. We pack it ourselves here and it's ready to give. I'd say it's about as gift-ready as it gets without you doing anything extra.
Why doesn't it have a face?
So this is the thing I get asked most. And honestly the first time I saw these I wasn't sure about it either... anyway, the carvers leave the face blank on purpose. It's not unfinished. A faceless angel, people project onto it whatever they need to. A mother holding a baby doesn't need eyes for you to feel what she's doing. I've had customers tell me they cried when they opened it and I believe them, the piece does something a painted face would actually ruin.
Is this actually hand carved or is that just marketing?
Real hand carved. Not a mold, not a machine. You can see the tool marks if you look close, every one's a little different.
How's shipping to the US?
Pretty standard, ships in a couple days usually. Free shipping if you're over $100.
Seven inches tall, is that solid or does it feel cheap?
Solid. Olive wood's dense, it's got real weight to it, you're not gonna pick this up and feel like you got ripped off.
