The Story Behind It

Most christian magnets you find online are factory-pressed from resin or cheap composite material. Ours are cut and carved by hand from olive wood by families who've been doing this their whole lives.

The olive wood comes from annual pruning of living trees. Nobody's cutting anything down. The trees stay healthy, the families have steady work, and you end up with a piece of wood that's been growing in this land for decades.

I visited one of our carver families last year. The father was shaping pieces at a workbench his own father built. His daughter does the engraving now, lettering clean and steady. Care Instructions

Olive wood is low maintenance. If it starts looking a little dry, rub a small drop of olive oil into it with a cloth and it'll come right back. Don't soak it in water. That's really all there's to it.
