About This Nativity Set
Set this out on your mantle or your table and people stop. They pick up the pieces. They ask where it's from. That happens every time, and I've heard it from customers more times than I can count.
This is a complete 12-piece hand carved nativity set, made from genuine Holy Land olive wood by Christian artisan families in Bethlehem. You get the figures, the stable, everything. Three display options so you can choose what fits your space, just the figurines, just the set with the stable, or the full nativity scene together.
The faceless design on each figure is deliberate. It's a style these carvers have used for generations, and it works. Something about it makes the scene feel timeless rather than decorative. If you're looking for nativities hand carved with real intention behind them, this is that.
Each piece comes directly from Bethlehem, no importers, no middlemen. Factory-direct pricing, which is why the quality at this price point doesn't make sense until you hold one.
From Our Family to Yours
Hi, I'm Elias. I grew up in this shop, and nativity sets were always the ones my father took the most time with before the holiday season. I've unpacked hundreds of these sets with my own hands, and I still check every stable piece before it ships. If you're looking for a nativities gift idea that actually means something, this is the one I'd point you to first. Every order ships directly from us, near Manger Square.

Perfect As a Gift
A pastor in Ohio ordered five of these last November, one for his family and four to give to longtime congregation members. He emailed me in January to say two of those families had already written him thanking him for it. That's the kind of thing that stays with you.
This set works as a nativities christmas gift in a way that lasts. It's not a candle or a card, it's something people bring out every year and set up in the same spot. It also travels well as a nativities baptism gift or a nativities confirmation gift for a young person starting something new. Couples getting married often receive one as a nativities wedding gift, something to start their home with. And around Easter, people order these as a nativities easter gift more often than you'd expect.

The Story Behind It
Most nativity sets you find online are factory-made somewhere far from the actual story. Ours are carved by families who live a short walk from where that story happened.
The olive wood itself comes from annual pruning of living trees in the Holy Land. Nobody cuts a tree down for this. The branches are pruned anyway each season, and the carvers use what's harvested. These families have been doing this for three generations, and they know the wood in a way that's hard to explain. The grain patterns, the weight, the way it polishes up differently on each piece. That's not something you learn from a manual.
When you order one of these nativities online through us, your pick up goes directly back to those families. No importer taking a cut in the middle. That matters to me, and it's why we've operated this way since the beginning.

Care Instructions
Olive wood is low maintenance. If the pieces start looking a little dry after years of use, rub a small drop of olive oil in with a cloth and that's all it needs. Don't soak any of the pieces in water, and they'll last as long as you want them to.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is this actually handmade or just marketed that way?
Real handmade. I've watched these being carved. The families who make them have been doing this for generations, same ones my dad built relationships with when he started the store. You can see the tool marks if you look close, it's not a stamped-out factory piece. Honestly some people think that's a flaw the first time they see it, then they realize that's the whole point.
Can I order a bunch of these for our church gift shop?
Yeah, reach out directly. We do bulk, and the pricing gets better depending on quantity. Just email us before you order through the site.
Is it real olive wood or does it just look like it?
Real olive wood. You can smell it when you open the box, that faint warm smell, it's not stain or finish covering up cheap wood. Olive wood has this specific grain pattern that's honestly hard to fake at this price point. I've seen the "olive wood look" stuff sold at big box stores and it's not even close. Ours comes straight from Bethlehem, the trees there are old and the wood is dense. Anyway, short answer: yes, real.
Is this good for gifting or does it need extra packaging?
It ships gift-ready, good box, nothing rattling around. I'd say it's fine to give as-is, most people don't even rewrap it.
Does the whole set fit together or do the pieces feel mismatched?
Fits together. Same hand, same wood.
